"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents of Yorba Linda as your Mayor. An Orange County native, I have lived in Yorba Linda since 2004 and am a local business owner of a successful medical practice in Yorba Linda since 2006. In addition, I worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of California, Irvine in the Graduate Nurse Practitioner program until that program was dissolved in 2018.  Before serving on the City Council, my political experience came from leading two very important non-profit organizations concerned with the welfare of people and communities. With over a decade of leadership experience at both state and local levels I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated regulatory agencies, and get things done. "

 LIST OF PRIORITIES

PROVEN, EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP

With over a decade of leadership experience at both state and local level organizations, and now at the local level, Beth finds solutions, navigates complicated regulatory agencies, and gets things done. She has served on the Board of Directors and ultimately as President of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners and also served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA - Orange County. She currently serves on the Placentia-Linda Hospital Board of Directors as Vice-Chair, the Health Policy Committee for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and represents AANP on the Primary Care Provider Advisory Board.

PRESERVE YORBA LINDA CHARM

One of the draws to Yorba Linda is the community's environment and small town feel. Beth listens when residents say they are concerned with potential problems with growth, traffic, and crime. As a homeowner and business owner here in Yorba Linda, Beth works hard to protect our neighborhood values through collaboration with stakeholders and law enforcement.

FISCAL HEALTH

Beth has been serving on the City of Yorba Linda Finance Committee since her election to City Council in 2016. She also serves on the Financial Partners Credit Union Board of Directors and has previous experience on two important non-profit boards, the YMCA - Orange County and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. One of Beth's priorities is to ensure Yorba Linda's fiscal health remains stable. She works diligently to manage organizational finances in a way that is practical and responsible to Yorba Linda citizens.

PUBLIC SAFETY

Public safety is paramount to Yorba Linda residents. Respect and collaboration with law enforcement is critical to maintain the safety of our community and Beth will continue to build and sustain relationships with our first responders and law enforcement officers.

BUSINESS

Small businesses are vital to Yorba Linda and Beth continues to foster working relationships with local and regional business owners to keep our business community thriving in ways that will attract and keep more options for our city. After all, small businesses are the heart of our community!
